Summer Examinations 2020

Summer Examinations 2020 

In response to the government information released in April with regards to examinations and the awarding of grades please see the key information below: 

  • All examinations this summer were cancelled. This meant that students were not given the opportunity to sit them. 
  • Teacher assessed grades, not target grades, were used to provide final grades.

  • Students will find out their grades on 13th August for A levels and 20th August for GCSEs 
  • Grades will be worth the same as any other year group that has previously been awarded grades by sitting examinations. 
  • If students do not agree with their grades they will have an opportunity to sit an exam in the autumn term.  
    AS/A level between 5-23 October. GCSE between 2-23 November.
    Deadlines for students to register their intention to resit exams should be received by;
    Friday 21st August for AS/A level
    Friday 28th August for GCSE
    More information will be given on results day however all requests should be sent preferably by email to craig.young@stjohnfisherschool.org.uk
