St John Fisher is the only secondary Catholic school in the western area of the Diocese of East Anglia. We are incredibly proud of this and value the uniqueness of our school. We have students who call themselves Catholic, of other faiths or of no faith; all are welcomed into our school community and encouraged to develop and share their gifts and talents. The teachings and actions of Jesus underpins our daily life at St John Fisher with respect and responsibility being two key values. These uphold our beliefs that we are united in our differences, and this is something we not only appreciate but celebrate. Our vision is for students to leave us with confidence, hope and the drive to share their given talents to make the world a joyous place for all. Our mission statement is a quote from Jesus: ‘I have come that they may have life and have it to the full’ and we ensure that we live this in our daily interactions with each other. Therefore, education at St John Fisher goes beyond the academic with an extensive provision of enrichment activities and opportunities for all our young people to experience so that they become well-rounded, resilient, thoughtful, considerate and happy people. Do contact the school should you wish to visit or have any queries or questions.
